Il Vecchio Frantoio

In the north of Tuscany, near the village of Buti, you will find "Il Vecchio Frantoio", a beautifully restored historic olive mill. Four apartments in traditional Tuscan style are at your disposal on the estate.
"Il Vecchio Frantoio" is ideally situated, only a half hour’s drive from Pisa with its famous Leaning Tower and from the beautiful Tuscan city Lucca. The beautiful sandy Tuscan beaches, Florence and other historical Tuscan towns are easily accessible from the Frantoio.

Mountain lovers will have to travel an additional 15 minutes, but for those who will settle for the historic town mentioned in Dante’s "Divine Comedy", Buti is only a five minute walk away.

Despite its vicinity to Buty the Frantoio is situated in absolute tranquility.
This historical olive mill is a real gem and unique among the many ancient Tuscan ruins.

The higher part of the estate offers beautiful hiking trails flanked by traditional stone walls. The lower part of the estate contains a wild running brook, and the grounds, with their lovingly restored buildings and relics of former times, stretch accross many terraces.
Surrounded by olives, vineyards, magnificent fruit trees and a Mediterranean bamboo grove, an abundance of tradition and culture are to be found here.
